Help me give my students a head start while having fun with Osmo. This game features practice in math using money, fractions, addition, and subtraction. It allows students to manipulate with technology as they learn.
My Georgia students are absolutely amazing! They come in each morning with a smile and a desire to be the best students they can be. My students motivate and teach me. They make me a better teacher and person! I am lucky to be their teacher!
In our classroom, we strive to build a strong community and positive learning environment.
I love to allow my students different methods of learning and engaging. We use everything from pencils and paper to computers and iPads to reach every kind of learner.
Thank you for supporting us!
My students currently use Osmo Numbers, Words, Tangrams, and Masterpiece. My students love that they are able to manipulate the pieces (numbers or words) using the iPads. It is a visual representation of numbers and words. My students will greatly benefit from moving to the next math skill, fractions, using a similar tactile method by Osmo. My students love a challenge and I love that this will challenge them while having fun! At this age, we also work on organizing skills and independence. The Osmo organizers will allow us to sort and organize the items we are already using in the classroom. It will help us to keep a count of our manipulatives and promote responsibility and accountability for supplies.
