My Project

My students will investigate, discover, and sort, Ordovician and Jurassic-era fossils of creatures that once dwelled on Earth by creating a 3-D timeline using the fossils. The fossils will be placed in order by geologic time in a shelf-like organizer.

This type of hands-on experience will make life-long learners and foster an appreciation of natural history and the processes that sculpted our planet and the evidence left behind.

They will understand the fossil record and geologic time when completed.

They will catalog fossil specimens and categorize them by class and order.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
