My students learn best when they can engage in hands-on experiences. When they have the opportunity to build, create and explore, they become the best version of themselves in the classroom. I truly love to see them having fun while learning!
As a direct result of their disabilities, my students have many academic and emotional needs.
They are curious, resilient and hungry for knowledge. They inspire me each and everyday to go the extra mile to help them succeed and grow!
My 6th grade class is extremely interested in science and animal life. They are very curious and are always asking to look up pictures of different animals.
This "Awesome Aquarium" will make a beautiful addition to our classroom.
I know that this resource will spark many great discussions as well as help to bring my student's curiosity to the next level. Additionally, it will help to foster a sense of ownership and responsibility. My students will be responsible for the upkeep of this beautiful aquarium. I plan on using this as an incentive for student behavior throughout the school year.
