it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my classroom are extremely talented, creative, and motivated to make art despite the challenges they face daily. They show up each day and put in their best efforts even though navigating high school life can be a difficult and challenging time for students. In my art room on a weekly basis I like to recognize students not only for their artistic abilities but for other reasons as well such as outstanding participation, improved attendance, helping a struggling classmate, and so much more.
It is absolutely priceless seeing a student's face light up when they are acknowledged for their positive actions.
The weekly rewards in my classroom have created a truly positive, welcoming, and encouraging environment where students feel supported. It is a tradition I look forward to establishing each school year because seeing the kid's smile when it is their week truly warms my heart.
