This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The color paper you will be sponsoring will engage my students during end of year activities from memorable journals to practicing transition skills, and taking summer practice packets. Color coding helps finding materials faster, calms students and awakes them when necessary. White and black is great for newspapers and some textbooks, but color paper awakens and motivates their creativity, and calms them and awakens their senses when necessary. Students are sometimes spending too much time on electronic devices and typing that they have neglected their handwritin and fine motor skills. I want them to have hardcopy evidence of their current abilities and want them to easily and efficiently organize and find their materials. Color paper can help us!
