My Project

Our students take pride in our library, and I strive to make it the heart of the school for my students. I enjoy encouraging a love of reading in my students, but there are times when getting the latest new titles because of budgetary reasons. This project will provide 10 copies of the brand new Amulet book for student checkout.

They have been waiting 5 years for book number 9 to be released and it is coming on February 6th!

Book 8 in the Amulet series was published in 2018 and the kids have been counting down the days for book 9. However, we need at least 10 copies to meet the heavy demand for student checkout.

We have few funding options for materials and rely heavily on grants and donations to fund our projects. This project will provide enough copies for our students to get started checking this book out and help us meet the demand for this long awaited title. Students will check out these books and use them for free, independent reading at home and in the classroom. Staying up to date on the latest titles will make a difference in student choice reading. The goal is to get students excited about reading by providing them with new book options!

This new titles is our most requested title for purchase this year. The books in this project will be processed and place in the school library for student checkout. Please help me give these students the very best that they deserve by providing us with materials to make our library program the very best.
