My Project

Desert Oasis's AVID College Readiness Program helps students who are first generation college students, low-income students, or underrepresented students in the college setting. These students work hard to be in this college readiness elective that helps them through all 4 years of high school. The focus is on preparing students not only for high school but teaching them the skills to thrive in college as well.

This project will help our AVID students stay organized and learn those essential skills that will help them throughout high school and for the rest of their lives.

Not all students have the financial means to buy binders and the organizational materials to help them stay organized in their binders.

By helping fund this project, you will be able to help many students to get onto the college and organizational track. They will be able to have the materials they need to succeed.
