My Project

Hi! I run an Autism Cluster Class for students with severe needs. Currently, we stand in need of new furniture. This need was recognized by administration and new furniture was ordered. Unfortunately, it looks like we will not be receiving new furniture for at least 3 years due to budget needs.

Our current desks and chairs are loose and wiggly, make very high pitched noises, and are also very old/dingy.

Some of my students refuse to sit at our desks because of sensory concerns related to the sounds and movement of the tables. With a room that addresses high sensory needs, having stable and quiet furniture will make such a difference!! Having tables with wheels will also help in situations when things need to be adjusted very quickly due to behavioral needs.

I have some incredible students who often seem to fall through the cracks. Please help me help my students!
