Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When this project is fully funded I will have everything I will need to customize tie dye t-shirts for my students in support for autism awareness. Our students are in preschool-kindergarten and are on the spectrum.

I believe that it would be a great way to encourage inclusion and awareness by customizing shirts that we can wear as a class.

T-shirts will be tie dyed to match our school colors which are blue and yellow. I also want to use the heat transfer vinyl to customize the t-shirts with a puzzle piece and our classroom number on the back. This is be a great opportunity for students to feel included and unique as they will be customized to our classroom. It will also give students an opportunity to match with their peers if we go on field trips.
