My classroom consists of some mindful thinkers and passionate workers of all different backgrounds. We are at a Title I school that needs a variety of resources to meet the needs of our students. My students are eager to learn about all areas of education and especially reading and writing activities.
My students are hard-working and gifted in each of their own ways. They are learning to use social skills to build relationships with one another and collaborate together as learning teams. Help us to educate the leaders of our future.
My Project
This project will align with our curriculum lessons in all ELA and content areas to will allow students to create writing pieces and book creating. This is an area that I want to focus on more with my students being in charge of their learning and producing pieces of work.
Students are engaged when the learning is geared to what their interests are.
The HP printer and ink combo will allow them to produce work that they are interested in. Providing the materials needed to print out their work and share with others in the classroom, school, families and communities is valuable.
The printer will allow students to publish their work in color to show details of their understanding of the subject they are sharing and learning about. Students being able to be creative and producing work will be empowering to them. I want to empower their love of learning.
