This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In a school district that does not have many gyms, the students are forced to have physical education/ activity time outside. Since we are a 9-12th school we have four physical education teachers that share all the equipment. Unfortunately, tennis score cards and rackets are out dated. This makes it difficult to motivate our students to want to play tennis. By providing us with new score poles and grips, students will not feel that they are using hand me down rackets and respect our equipment because the grip will bring the rackets back alive.

This will allow students to have a great experience and eliminate the feeling of using worn out equipment.

Last, the score poles we also have asked for will only make more authentic when playing tennis matches in the class.
