My Project

Help me, my fellow teachers and related service providers (Speech, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Social Worker) get materials to create individual learning materials for our students. This project will get materials for three different classrooms of students, and teachers all within my program.

The goal of project is to get materials to make sensory friendly learning opportunities for our students that are individualized for each student with their needs and interests in mind.

The laminating and Velcro will mean we can print and create materials that can be used as hands-on learning and for many topics such as math, reading, writing, life skills, social emotional learning, and more. Students will be able to use the materials we buy and create to accelerate in their learning, enrich their individual interests. This project will also help with our social emotional learning as we use zones of regulation and we print, laminate, and make this learning interactive for our students. Our students learn best with sensory in mind as well. The games, sorts, and magnets give use multiple media to use during structured learning and social skills times.
