Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The current project is focused on building one on one connection with students to increase school attendance.

A team of six will make daily and weekly efforts with students to create and foster safe connections to the school, peers, teachers, staff and community.

We would love to be able to provide snacks as rewards and utilize games such as Uno for students to socialize with each other. Some of our students are special needs students who benefit from sensory activity toys while participating in groups, we want to make sure we are being inclusive during our project.
