Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are curious fifth graders. They love learning and are always exploring. They come from low-income households and the recent At-Home Learning experiences are decreasing their opportunities to explore and discover. Most of my students depend on paper and workbooks. I want my eager learners to have more choices.

My Project

At-Home Learning requires students to have access to technology. I have two students that are still relying on workbooks. Their families don't have a computer at home. They are using a cell phone for their lessons. The capabilities of the cell phones are very limited. Students can't use the e-programs for Reading and Math.

Our students deserve technology!

The iPads will serve as a tool that they can use during Zoom meetings to go over material easily and will be able to access materials needed to succeed in school.
