My Project
I am requesting a classroom set of the book Astrophysics for People in a Hurry by Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson so that my students will have the opportunity to read about the universe and their place in it. Space is an incredibly fascinating subject, especially for my students. They love to hear about all of the incredible things that we as humans have discovered so far.
Students also need more time and practice reading. I think this book will be a great way to get students engaged, learning about the universe, and reading. These are things I think we can all get behind.
