Astronomy Project!

Help me give my students an opportunity to see the planets! This telescope is said to be great in both low light and high light pollution areas.

My Project

This year we had a great eclipse to look at as we went through the 8th grade curriculum focused on the planets and the Earth/Sun/Moon systems. You'd be surprised to find out how big space is!

I'd like to set up a decent telescope when there is an evening activity (like the Middle School Dance, or Art Night) and have students and parents take a look at the moon and planets.

I'd done some research and this telescope is big enough to operate in both low and high light pollution environments. It also can use a cell phone app to guide the scope toward the proper locations to see hundreds of other celestial wonders like nebula.

Or course, we also have low light polution areas here in Nevada too! Maybe we can take it with us on an overnight field trip?

Let's have the kids get familiar with their universe!

Thanks
