My Students

I teach a group of amazing fourth graders. They work hard and are eager to learn. We are a K-8 public school where the majority of students receive free and reduced-price breakfast and lunch. In my classroom, I specifically teach English language learners. We are a group of diverse learners ready to become future leaders.

Being multi- and bilingual, my students are such an asset to our community.

Together, we have created a community where students feel safe and valued. All differences are celebrated. We do not fear making mistakes because we know taking risks helps us learn and become better people.

My Project

My newest project is supplies that will help support my students overall health and wellness. I am asking for cleaning supplies (wipes, hand soap, etc.) to help keep the classroom clean and help fight off COVID-19 germs! I am asking for snacks to provide to students who do not have something to eat during snack time. Many students are picky, which causes them to choose not to eat. Lack of food throughout the day can lead to unfocused students. Additionally, I am asking for prizes for our classroom prize box. Our prize box is used as a positive incentive to help students stay motivated and eager to do the right thing.
