Aspiring Journalists in Need of a Camera to Capture Stories

My Project

My students will use this camera to integrate photos and videos into their work, publishing to Memorial's online newspaper, the Ruff Draft. They also submit their works to various competitions throughout the year, so having a high-quality camera is crucial. 

This camera will be a pivotal tool in enhancing the learning experience of my journalism students.

Journalism is an inherently visual medium, and capturing compelling images is crucial for effective storytelling. This camera will help to replace old and damaged cameras, allowing my students' dedication and skill to shine.

The goal of this project is to provide my journalism students with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive as aspiring journalists. Ultimately, I want to prepare my students for success in the rapidly evolving field of journalism by equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to adapt to changing technological landscapes and professional expectations.
