Aspiring Authors Need Book Binding Materials to Publish Their Masterpieces!

My students need supplies that will allow them to create and publish books to express their creativity, and showcase their knowledge.

My Students

I get the joy of working with a very diverse group of third grade students. Our local community is a melting pot of different cultures situated near a military base. Additionally, many of my students depend on free or reduced-price lunches. My students are curious, energetic, creative, and loving!

My students love writing and creating stories.

A publishing center would allow my students to turn their creative works into bound books that can easily enjoyed by others, and preserved in their portfolio.

My Project

This project is the aspiring writers dream come true! The materials that I have requested would allow my students to express themselves, and create colorful, bound books to enjoy.

This project would allow my students to make bound, finished works that are enjoyable for the whole classroom to experience!

This project would help promote writing in the classroom, and give students a sense of ownership and accomplishment as they bind and publish their creative ideas. I have requested a binding machine to make their dream of publishing books possible. Additionally, I have asked for a variety of binding comb sizes and paper types for creative color options for book covers. Students could write their own autobiography, do research projects, and fully illustrate and bind write works of fiction from their imaginations! The sky is the limit for possibilities of publishing opportunities!
