My Students

This is my second year at this Boston Public School! Approximately 50% of the students at this school are from low-income families, 40% are English Language Learners, and 20% are students with special needs. This Boston neighborhood is diverse, with some families brand-new to the country! I'm hoping to build strong connections with families and students so that this year is an incredible start to their educational journey! I strive to provide an excellent education for the children of Boston! I'm so excited to meet my little friends!

My Project

My students love designing and building everything from bridges, museums and unique buildings as part of the STEM Construction Unit of study! They have used recycled materials and all kinds of blocks to create their structures, and now I am hoping that they will also have Magna-Tiles as a resource!

Magna-Tiles will inspire creativity!

Magna-Tiles will provide a 3D medium for budding architects and engineers! Magna-Tiles are magnetized to allow for design flexibility. They are transparent, children to view the critical engineering elements.

Magna-Tiles are a fun, engaging medium for architecture, engineering and constructing. They will be a great supplement to our STEM unit.
