Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This year has been special and unique! One of our focuses this year is to plan and complete several project-based learning (PBL) activity, which will incorporate multiple academic standards across all domains. My students are special because they persevere through the kindergarten common core state standards, even when they are difficult.

My goal for this project is to have art supplies and dramatic play activities ready for any project my students want to tackle!

Students learn best by interacting and working through real-life scenarios. My goal is to have a section of my classroom for dramatic play. I hope to reach the goal before the start of the next school year, as I believe using dramatic play will help students' social emotional maturation.
