This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching for almost three years, I have loved seeing how creative first graders can be with their art. Art is a really important thing to teach for early education. Art teaches students how to express themselves and to be how creative they would like to be. I want to encourage my students to be creative and use whatever they would like in their art.

I would like to give them the crayons, paint, glitter, and other supplies to have options so they can pick what they would like to use to create their beautiful artwork.

I am excited to see the art they create for the next year.
