My Project

I teach a class that offers students the chance to express themselves artistically while making crafts that they can share and be proud of. Allowing students to work with paint and wood to create a bird house; or make a candle is relaxing and might spur them towards a hobby or even a job. Having students work on crafts gives them a creative outlet that they may not get outside of school. They learn cooperation.

My students struggle with normal school classwork.

This means they must work extra hard to keep up. By providing a mind break to be creative and be proud of what they have made, is priceless. They cannot wait to share what they have done or to give it to someone as a gift.
