My Project

I love seeing the creativity of my students when they come to the regulation room to reset. Often, students are not ready or able to communicate their needs while feeling overwhelmed or escalated, but drawing and other creative activities help them calm down while being able to navigate next steps. Supplies such as dry erase boards, markers, pencils, pens, and other writing tools provide meaningful outlets for self-expression and emotional processing. As students begin to regulate, we often see them become more confident and willing to communicate their needs. Cleaning supplies and air fresheners help maintain a welcoming, comfortable environment where students feel supported. These simple tools make a big difference in helping students develop coping skills, build confidence, and return to the classroom ready to learn.
