My Students

I teach kindergarten to a wonderful and exciting group of 5-6 year old boys and girls who love to use their imaginations and grow their artistic abilities. They are amazing students who have grown so much throughout the school year.

I work extremely hard to ensure my students get everything they need to make their school year fun and productive.

Since this is their first year in school, it is the most vital. Helping them realize that learning can be fun and exciting will help them enjoy learning throughout the rest of their educational lives. Art is an important part of that education.

My Project

Unfortunately, in these days of budget cuts and other problems, it is the first to be overlooked. My students need art to help them explore and learn through wonderful hands on and creative activities. Art projects like puppets, scratch board art, paint bowls, collage boxes, dot painters of different colors, ink pads of different colors and making their own pencil cases will help them to grow their minds and imaginations.

I know that it takes a special person to donate to a group of students they don't know but my students are worth it.

They deserve every opportunity to grow and mature through great art projects that they can share with their family and friends with pride and admiration.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
