Help me give my students a variety of basic art supplies we will use to do integrated art lessons to help promote the learning in their grade level classrooms.
I teach wonderful students in a rural area. We are a highly impacted Title I school. My students face many challenges with the positive optimism of childhood.
My students are children of all ages from kindergarten to fifth graders.
I teach at four schools working with over 3,000 students. I love that I get to share my greatest passion for art and learning with them. I see so many 21st century skills developed through visual art. My students get the opportunity to problem solve, make creative choices, and to see and understand the world around them more clearly.
My Project
So many students are behind and absent due to covid. I work with teachers to identify the areas they need extra emphasis on and create art lessons to help fill those holes.
I work with classroom teachers to create integrated art lessons that support what the students are learning while they learn art skills and techniques.
I will use these supplies in a variety of grades and projects that are designed to support students of all ages and grades to be successful in school. Art supplies get consumed and used up quickly in an entire school so all your help is deeply appreciated!
