This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Hi everyone! I am a 4th year special education pre-k teacher in HSD and I am blessed to work with an amazing group of students! As a 4th year teacher, I am currently trying to create additional resources or materials that will benefit my students. Most of my students are non-verbal and they have unique and individualized needs. They are learning everyday simple routines. My students greatly benefit and respond to engaging activities that include visual materials for story time or familiar songs for our centers. They all have various learning styles and can benefit from a variety of learning tools that would enhance their experience as auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners. As their teacher, my goal is to create and build a positive learning experience for all of my students! My Project
Arts and crafts - a wonderful sensory and fine motor activity that encourages each child to create, explore, and express their talents. My students love to create and explore art in various forms, and what fun it would be to have the needed materials to help us plan our monthly themes, art projects, the color of the month, etc. through art! These art materials, dot markers, construction paper, and glue will add more exploration, creativity, and fun in our small group art activities and themed lessons! These materials will be used daily to incorporate all the exciting colors, shapes, and themes we are focusing on for each month!
