My Students

My students are amazing! They are curious, enthusiastic, and open to new ideas! Over the last several years I have noticed a shift in students’ willingness to explore and develop mindful ways to solve problems! I love how they keep trying and are open to multiple ideas for problem-solving skills in all academic and social subjects! It has unlocked a new passion in how learning opportunities are presented for my students and they LOVE it! These kids really are incredible!

My Project

In taking Growth Mindset and Social-Emotional Learning to the next step, my class is ready to illustrate what they know! We would like to have LEGO stem-based materials available for the children to be able to freely create a visual expression of their feelings... or of how they would like to feel.

The sky's the limit for these children as they describe the color of happy or the "look" of proud!

We just need paint, tissue paper, ink pads and other materials to spark creative minds! There is no stopping them from there... we cannot wait to see this unfold!
