This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello, I believe what makes my students special is that they are part of a biligual school where they are give the opportunitys to connect better with their Mexican Culture and are allowed the opportunity to explore. Exploring Mexican artesanías enhances cultural connection, language skills, and identity formation for students.

It deepens their understanding of Mexican culture while fostering proficiency in English and Spanish through relevant vocabulary exposure.

Additionally, it encourages multicultural appreciation and creative expression. Analyzing artesanías cultivates critical thinking skills by exploring their cultural, historical, and social contexts.
