Because of these hands-on materials, students were able to move beyond simply reading about forensic science and instead experience it through investigation, problem solving, and collaboration. Activities such as analyzing evidence, practicing fingerprinting, and working through mock crime scenes increased student engagement and excitement in ways that traditional lessons alone could not. Many students who normally struggle to stay involved in class became active participants when given the opportunity to learn through hands-on experiences.\r\n\r\nThese materials also helped create a classroom environment built on curiosity, critical thinking, and teamwork. Students developed stronger observation and analytical skills while gaining confidence in their ability to solve problems and communicate ideas. As a teacher, it has been incredibly rewarding to watch students become more invested in learning and excited to come to class each day. Your generosity has helped create meaningful learning experiences that my students will remember long after this course ends.","fullyFundedDate":1769177119473,"projectUrl":"project/forensic-science/9811708/","projectTitle":"Forensic Science","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Carpenter","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8510867_orig.jpg?crop=1699,1699,x307,y200&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1678301759512","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8510867"},{"teacherId":3004382,"projectId":10171501,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donations to our classroom. I have already had many students check out the new books and we use our disinfecting supplies daily. During the peak of sick season, we started receiving our extra supplies and double disinfecting with the spray. We immediately started to see improvements. The laptop works perfectly for checking in and out books, making for a mobile work station and being able to access data and emails around campus when I'm not in my classroom. Finally, the AppleTv is a huge game changer for our class, making my working station not just behind my desk but out in the room with the kids while being able to work on my iPad with the kids working on their assignments with me. World history loves being able to see a clearer image of our maps and see me working on assignments in real time with them.","fullyFundedDate":1774630577808,"projectUrl":"project/books-cleanliness-more/10171501/","projectTitle":"Books, Cleanliness & More!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Reynolds","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3004382_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1502913152939","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3004382"},{"teacherId":9772909,"projectId":9326290,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of the Hoover camera and the new keyboard for my classroom.
