Artemis II Art Project Moon Art

Help me give my students ink, bracelets, and tools to create moon art inspired by the Artemis II 2026 moon mission.

My Project

Help give my students the chance to explore the moon through art! Students will learn about the Artemis II mission, the far side of the moon, and imagine what future moon projects might look like.

Using their imagination, students will design and create original artwork showing future lunar landscapes and possible habitats.

We will display their work on a classroom moon display board so everyone can celebrate their ideas.

To make this project possible, we need printer ink to print reference images and student digital designs, and bulletin board paper to set up our gallery.

Lastly, the class of 2026 lanyards and rubber bracelets will help connect students to the Artemis crew and this historic 2026 moon mission, so they can feel like they are part of this extraordinary event. I hope that this project will help students express themselves through art and imagine the future of space exploration.
