My Students

I am the elementary Art teacher. My students are imaginative and fun-loving kids. Despite the hardships they are facing with school being closed, they are eager learners. My students are creative and very enthusiastic about learning. They need a way to express themselves about what is going on in the world around them.

They are used to coming to art every week and being able to creatively express themselves.

Since the close of our school because of what is going on in the world now they are not all able to express themselves.

My Project

These art kits would have some basic supplies such as; pencil, paper, crayons, markers, etc. The students who don't have art supplies at home would be given a kit. They would then have the means to help them creativity express how they feel about what is going on in their lives. It is an uncertain time in the world and kids need a way to express their feeling. They need to know that it is OK to feel the way they do. They would feel better about what is happening around them.
