My Project

First graders love to get creative with art supplies! We use art daily in my classroom. Whether as a "soft start" to our day or a "quiet time" activity to reset after lunch, my students are always creating. Along with that markers are drying out, pens are running out of ink and crayons wear down!

Students also love to use art and drawing to show what they have learned about our different subject areas.

They love doing detailed drawing of animals and birds and making solar system, sun and moon projects. Each year I need to refresh some art materials and it usually is just too much for my minimal classroom budget to cover. Thank you Donors Choose for giving me this platform for getting my needs met.
