My Students

My students come from diverse backgrounds and lifestyles, but they come into the classroom with their own knowledge, concerns, and passions. Each student has their own story that they want to share.

When my students enter our classroom, the students shine with excitement!

They are animated with unbridled expressions, eager to be engaged in their learning, and want to share their stories, ideas, and wonderings. It is such a fun, positive experience to be learning and exploring new topics along with my students.

My students need tools and supplies to provide them with opportunities to be successful.

My Project

I would love to be able to continue our art lessons in the classroom. During our art lessons, my students learn various art concepts such as mixing of colors to make new colors, how to use different mediums, elements of arts, and artists. They really enjoy art, but we are getting low and running out of art supplies.

Art is such a wonderful form of expression that everyone can participate in.

It provides an opportunity for all my students to express their thoughts, emotions, ideas, and observations. They also develop social and communication skills as they share their compliments towards their peer's artwork.
