My Students

I teach Art to approximately 410 students in grades K-5 in a newer building located in the Independence School District. Our school is home to a large percentage of Spanish speaking students as well as students who qualify for free and reduced-price lunch.

My students love to work on art projects and have a wonderful, positive attitude!

My Project

We need art supplies! I teach 410 students at our elementary school. We are a newer Title I school and don't have a stockpile of supplies like established schools. In addition, our budget is .80 per student! That doesn't go far! These art supplies will be used to fill in where our budget is lacking.

This school year will culminate with a Glow in the Dark Neon Art Show!

I am asking for paint, neon oil pastels, construction paper, and blacklights for our Glow in the Dark Neon Art Show.
