Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are enthusiastic learners who love to learn. This school year I was fortunate enough to bring art back to our school and my students are very excited. Our became a Pre-school to sixth grade school and including a resource classroom. In our school, we have amazing students who come from bilingual households and receive free lunch. Many students are ELL (English Language Learners) and are newcomers to this state. My students always try their best in whatever they can and are always looking for opportunities to learn through a variety of ways.

My Project

All the art materials are needed at our school in order to benefit all my students. Having brushes, paints, paper and colored pencils will help my students become creative artists. This will give all the students an opportunity to create a variety of projects. Younger students will benefit from learning to paint, and older ones will be very excited to learn to sketch and use oil pastels.

We need supplies to get our art program going!

We are in great need of art supplies in order to make our art program succeed this school year. These supplies will be used through out the year to help my students become creative artists.
