This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach a diverse group of learners. I want to provide our students with the same opportunities as other scholars, and to do this I need the necessary resources and supplies. My goal is to provide every student with a rich and equitable art education. The items that I am requesting will ensure that students get to experience using different mediums and will give them the opportunity to experiment with art projects that interest them.

With more supplies, I am able to offer more choice to my students which gives them a voice in their learning.

This encourages more students to try creating art, even when they have never tried it before. These materials will impact their learning and make a difference in the lessons that I provide them.
