My Project

Our elementary is a rural school that serves K-5 students and their families for all of Graham County Schools. There is no longer a sole activity called Art, as it has been absorbed into what is now called STEAM for our school. Without a teacher whose yearly budget is solely designated to art supplies, things like the butcher paper rolls all of our school uses is not an inherent resource to be ordered each year.

This school year we have continued to use what was left by our prior art teacher, but the paper supply is quickly dwindling due to teachers across all grades sharing it for various events and holidays to make our hallways a cheery place for our students to walk through.

This paper is also used directly by our students for art projects in the classroom or posters to cheer on students of ours participating in events. The impact of this project is school-wide!
