My Students
My students are amazing. They come to school prepared to learn and try their best to achieve our high expectations every day.
Our school is located in a low-income area with most students receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
Most of my students have limited resources outside of school, so our school may provide their only chance to experience enriching activities. My goal every year is to create an environment that is warm, safe and welcoming while maintaining a fun, creative learning atmosphere.
My Project
My students need canvases, paintbrushes, and paint, to integrate and supplement learning traditional subjects with a creative visual representation. These art supplies will allow us to create many amazing art projects and crafts. In second grade art is essential, and without these supplies, our projects are very limited. Art can move a student's learning experience beyond textbooks and pencils. These supplies will allow their imagination to run wild, create beautiful works of art, and learn how people express art around the world.

Art is an essential part of learning and helps students develop important critical thinking skills. These students will be the artists of the future, and we need to provide them with a variety of art experiences to develop their unique talents. These tools needed for artistic expression will allow my students to exercise their creativity in an unlimited manner.
