Art Supplies For An Artistic, Inquisitive Kindergarten Class
My students need paper and art supplies so they can further their creative, curious little minds!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Let us expand our imaginations! The art materials in my Kindergarten classroom are almost non-existent. But our inquiring minds and busy fingers love art-time the most! Please help us replenish our supplies!
Many of my 24 Kindergarten scholars don't even own a package of crayons at home, so I like to try and provide them with everything their busy little fingers need to improve their creative minds (and their fine motor skills)!
My class is a CTT class, with 10 special-needs students and 14 general education students. Many of them need hands-on activities in order to fully understand literacy and mathematics concepts. Reaching these ideas through art has proved to be a highly effective tool for my scholars!
My Project
I am requesting some basic supplies like paper and printer toner so that my students and I can continue our day-to-day activities. These supplies will give me the resources to print out books that will help my students improve their letter-sound recognition, and worksheets that will help them learn to write their letters and numbers.
The art supplies I've requested will not remain pipe cleaners, note cards and construction paper for long. They will soon become puppets, patterns, hats, and collages at the hands of 24 of the Bronx's sweetest, most imaginative scholars.
By donating to this project, you will not only be giving my scholars the chance to complete fun art projects, but you will give them the power to think creatively, expand their imaginations and use their hands to create truly exciting projects.
