Many of my 24 Kindergarten scholars don't even own a package of crayons at home, so I like to try and provide them with everything their busy little fingers need to improve their creative minds (and their fine motor skills)! My class is a CTT class, with 10 special-needs students and 14 general education students. Many of them need hands-on activities in order to fully understand literacy and mathematics concepts. Reaching these ideas through art has proved to be a highly effective tool for my scholars!
