My Students

My students are amazing. We are located at the top of Mississippi in the fastest growing school district. We are in a low-income district which makes supplies harder to come by for my students.

My students come from different ethnic backgrounds.

Their unique backgrounds bring an exceptional and interesting cultural diversity to my classroom. I love teaching these diverse students. Each one is amazing.

My students are the next generation of doctors, lawyers, teachers, politicians and any other job they desire.

My Project

These students are from low-income families and rarely get opportunities to do fun, creative activities. In fourth grade, we often do science experiments, but they are not able to make their presentations stand out or to advertise their results as they want to, due to limited supplies. Our classroom is in desperate need of paints, paintbrushes, foam boards, and butcher paper to complete these projects.

The students are often so academically burnt out that they long for creative release.

By pushing art and humanities, the students are not getting a chance to improve their artistic abilities or to expand their creativity. Not everyone goes into art or humanities, and I want all students to find something that makes them feel inspired. Your generous donation will help the students in my classroom create art, present their work through poster presentations, and even create advertisements for things that they create!
