This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As educators, we believe that the arts play a fundamental role in completing a comprehensive education, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in our students. In order to keep the program going year after year, we need to replace materials that have been used. Your support in providing the necessary supplies for our art department would make a significant difference in our students' learning experience and help cultivate a love for the arts.

The thing that gets used the most in our Art class is paper.

We use it to plan out projects, we draw on it, paint on it, and use it for collage, printmaking, and all sorts of activities. As we run out, we need to restock so that we can continue to create art projects.

The students at our school have a deep passion for art and love to express themselves through creative projects.

It is disheartening to see that our school's budgets for the arts have been cut, leaving us struggling to provide our students with the tools they need to thrive. Your support would make a significant difference for our scholars and help foster a love for the arts.
