Art Library for my Amazing Artistic Students

Help me give my students supplies to create an art supply library. I am requesting various sets of colored pencils to create an art supply library for my students.

My Students

My students are ambitious, hard-working, eager to learn 4th graders whose first language is not English. My students are diverse, some are brand new to the United States. However, all of my students have a love of learning, a love of school, and most importantly a love of color! These bright, shining kiddos come form diverse backgrounds, with most of them being low-income. They do not let their economic challenges interfere with their learning or their attitudes towards learning! My students come to school everyday willing to do the work to bridge the language gaps between themselves and their peers. They are so sweet, humble, and most importantly they are appreciative. These are an amazing group of 4th graders that deserve the best opportunities to succeed!

My Project

This project is aimed at creating an art supply library for my students. Most of my students come from low income homes where oftentimes, extra expenses like art supplies are out of the question. My students love art and love expressing themselves creatively. These art supplies will be used to create a "library" where my students can check out various art supplies to take home and use and return when they are finished. My students love to draw, sketch, and color but most lack the funds to be able to buy these items at home. This will allow my current (and future) students the opportunities and supplies needed to foster their creativity. And we all know, creativity is needed to learn and grow!
