Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are enthusiastic learners. They come to school with their own experiences and knowledge. They are eager to share it. I believe painting will allow my students to express their creativity through art. The watercolors will help students discover how art can communicate their own ideas and become interested in creating increasingly realistic depictions.
Imaginative activities for our students can lead to better skills in social interactions and emotional regulation.
I hope that having weekly art lessons will help my fifth graders develop improvements for overall motivation, thinking, and academic achievement. The watercolors will help us foster a positive culture and climate in our classroom. This project will only help enrich their experiences with art education.
