The set of five Chromebooks will help my students become more skilled at accessing academic content online and for submitting assignments and completing tests. Not only will they be better prepared form middle school and high school but for college and future careers where everything is done online. Twenty first century skills requires an array of technological knowledge which can only be gained through numerous exposures and practice with different systems. That is why my students need quality learning opportunities that incorporate the use of technology through online reading programs, interactive math games, access to google classroom and docs to complete online assignments and writing tasks. Many students are still learning word-processing skills and having a set of chrome books in class will allow them take the time to edit and revise and publish a digital document. Allowing students to become familiar with learning technology will allow them to continue to grow as learners and have continued success in school and their future careers.
