This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Art is an essential part of my students´ lives. My students love art. They enjoy drawing, painting and coloring with different types of medium. In class, I teach students how to draw and paint. I want to foster the love of art in my students. Students come to school every day excited and more engaged when art is part of their schedule. I am requesting for a set of acrylic paint markers for special art projects. These acrylic paint markers will allow students to draw on wooden, ceramic and canvas surfaces with bleeding and smearing. We would like to use these acrylic paint markers to decorate pots, wooden ornaments and rocks. I am also requesting for a variety of wood chips and flair pens. Your donations to this project will make school and art fun for all of my students.
