Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My TK students are persevering through these trying times so well!

They are creative, sweet, respectful, silly, playful and an all-around amazing group of littles.

My students are smart, fun-loving children of color that want to learn.

They come from low-income households (school-wide Title I) and have limited resources and experiences outside their community. Our classroom is a place to learn, love, grow, and play.

My Project

I have some very talented little artists in my TK class. My kids love to create and paint every day. I would love for them to explore finger painting! It is a fun expressive activity that they can enjoy safely and outdoors. This will allow my students to be creative and build gross motor skills in a fun way. That is what TK should be about. I would also love for them to explore with kid-friendly oil pastels. The colors you get from oil pastels are so much cooler than crayons and I would love for them to try that too!

At this age, art should be messy and fun!

In addition to the finger paints and oil pastels, I would love a touchless soap dispenser! Sharing soap can be very very messy especially after art. Please help me keep my kiddos clean and safe!
