My Project

I am a Multiple Disabilities Teacher and my classroom has 11 students; two Kindergarten, three first graders, four second graders and two third graders. The students in my classroom have a variety of disabilities and functioning levels. They learn best through hands-on and visual learning. Many of the students stay in my classroom for about 2 to 3 years. I try to get new and exciting materials and activities each school year.

The students in my classroom enjoy Art time!

I try to do art at least once a week that ties into my lessons I do in Science and Social Studies. My art supplies are running low at the moment. A few activities all my students enjoy are painting and coloring. I would like to get new water colors and coloring books for each student. We also do a lot of cutting activities on card stock and with many of our Art lessons we use wiggly eyes, tissue paper, construction paper, pompoms, magnet tape and bags to create Amazing art work! We would be very grateful for any help to supply these items. Thank you.
