My Students

Students are more than just the skills needed to pass the state tests. We need to develop students creativity through the arts.

The students who will use the materials are from a NYC public school.

The majority of the students live in high poverty and the whole school receives free breakfast and lunch. I want these students to have art experiences. They deserve a well balanced education!

My Project

I am asking for art supplies, specifically watercolor supplies. This area in art is one that many students will probably never get to experience on their own. There is more to art than drawing and coloring with crayons. I believe these watercolor art experiences will open up doors to the students creativity!

All children need experiences to better understand the changing world they live in.

This can be done in many ways. I would like to show them creativity through art. With the material requested, I know my students will benefit! Thank you for your consideration.
